Participatory Light boxes for New Cross Learning Completed

One year ago, Artmongers run it’s first crowd funded project to create 2 large lightboxes on New Cross Learning’s ceiling. The idea was to create a space/platform for people to collaborate amongst themselves to make art installations that would enhance the space of the Library and give a sense of participation and a happening energy. Two groups where formed for the first two installations, one made by Baby Bounce mothers, lead by Emily Botterman and the second, two artists who are involved with the Library for a long time, Jessica Easter and Nathan Kidd They both look wonderful and we feel very proud of the results. Many thanks to all of those who contributed their hard earned cash to make it happen.

The official opening is on the 28th of February
