Unity, harmony and togetherness are themes that often feel far from our lives, especially when we’re running to catch a train.
But sometimes, when we look beyond ourselves and our families and remember that we are one human race, a magnificently diverse species, united by the desire to enjoy life and overcome adversity through meaningful relations with others, amazing things can happen.
Inspired by the Lewisham Logo – people holding their hands up in celebration to form a crown – the mural evolves the image into a dynamic dance between diverse people, all having a great time together. The aim is for viewers to find a moment to stop and think about where are we going as the human race. When? Ideally ‘Round About Now’.
