Re-cut – Participatory artwork with people’s favourite fabric sees the light again

A participatory artwork we did on Telegraph Hill back in 2006 called ‘Fabric of Society’ – which then led to The Hill Station community cafe, has just been reconfigured using the new spaces available. The starting point of this artwork was asking local people to show us the piece of fabric they were most attached to and to tell us the story behind the feeling of attachment.┬áThis emotional investment charged the space with warmth and colour until the Cafe opened up its doors. Full circle and a Bold Vision.
